May the Word spread rapidly and its glory be recognized and honored everywhere in this city. (2 Thess 3:1)
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth… and the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole region.” (Acts 13: 47&49)
Thank you Lord that Mosul is a part of those ’ends of the earth’. We agree with Your word today and pray that it would spread throughout all of Mosul and the whole nation of Iraq.
Population of the Day
University students
Please pray for young adults and students in Mosul. It is very hard for people from this generation to find jobs, even when they have completed their studies. Many young adults find themselves disillusioned and have little hope and perspective for the future.
Characteristic of God to be Revealed & Released
Holy
Pray for God’s holiness to have its right place in the hearts of the peoples of Mosul.
Additional Prayer Request
Prayfor people to be set free from a religious spirit and self-righteousness, to humble themselves and recognize their need for a savior. “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Mark 2:17)
