Sheikhs and Imams-

Sheikhs and Imams are the Islamic religious leaders. Sheikhs have a more general leadership role in their faith, but Imams are the leaders to lead the 5 calls to prayer each day and many even hold political power.

Pray with us that the Islamic religious leaders of Mosul would be captivated by the love and kindness of the Savior. May they have the humility to receive salvation based on faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone, rather than on a system of scales and good deeds.

Characteristic of God to be Revealed & Released

High Priest

Pray that the people of Mosul will know Jesus as the perfect atonement for our sins, as the One who makes intercession on our behalf, and the One through Him we have access to the Father through prayer.

“For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:20) Many in Mosul think that Christians have an easier ’religion’ because of misunderstanding the Gospel of grace through Christ Jesus. We pray for every believer’s (Iraqi and foreigner) holiness to shine forth and for many to be drawn to Jesus through the authentic witness of Christ in His disciples.”
